Privacy note
Angkor Health Run is a free browser game made by AC Design Studio. This note explains what we collect when you play, and why.
Who we are
AC Design Studio (ac-design.studio) collects and is responsible for your data.
What we collect
- Your name (a nickname is fine). It is shown on the public top 5 leaderboard.
- Your email address. It is never shown publicly or sent to other players' browsers.
- The date you gave consent, and whether you asked for news from AC Design Studio.
- Your scores and how long each run lasted.
To stop abuse, we keep a short-lived, scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for a few minutes. We never store the address itself. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a human. It does not use tracking cookies.
Your browser saves your name, email and sound settings on your own device, so you don't have to type them again. Use "Not you?" on the start screen to clear them.
Why we collect it
- To run the game and its leaderboard.
- To contact you about the game, for example if you win a prize. You agreed to this when you ticked the consent box.
- To send you news from AC Design Studio, only if you ticked the newsletter box. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.
Where it is stored
Game data is stored with Cloudflare (hosting and database). Player emails are also added to our customer relationship tool, Attio, so we can manage contacts and newsletter subscriptions. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while the game runs. We delete it within 12 months after the game closes, or sooner if you ask us to.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop contacting you. Email privacy@ac-design.studio from the address you played with. We reply within 30 days.
